The Marostica IGP cherry is a round red fruit with a firm pulp and a sweet taste. It has been the first cherry in Italy to obtain the I.G.P. certification mark and it is produced only in the municipalities of Salcedo, Fara Vicentino, Breganze, Mason Vicentino, Molvena, Pianezze, Marostica, Bassano del Grappa and in a part of Schiavon area.
